ESPN analyst Adrian Wojnarowski dismissed critics of Bronny James joining the Los Angeles Lakers.
The youngster will join iconic father LeBron in California after being selected with the 55th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft.
Some have accused Bronny, 19, of benefitting from nepotism.
But Wojnarowski insists the issue existed long before the James duo joined forces in Los Angeles.
“I don’t want to hear the charges, people talking about nepotism,” Wojnarowski said on coverage of the Draft.
“The NBA is full of nepotism. The ownership level, front offices, coaching.

“I don’t want to hear about it – all of a sudden – because Bronny James’ father plays for the Lakers.
“It is rampant in this league.”
Bronny entered the draft after one season with USC.
He played 25 games and made six starts for the Trojans – averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.

Bronny’s younger brother Bryce posted an Instagram clip of the former USC star’s reaction to being picked.
The Lakers rookie, who donned a brown suit, was seen teary-eyed as mom Savannah gave him a Lakers hat to wear.
“Beyond blessed,” he posted on Instagram.
Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during a college practice last year.
He was later diagnosed in August 2023 with a congenital heart defect.
The family decided to not travel to New York City for the Draft and held a barbeque for family and friends in Los Angeles.
The U.S. Sun learned that everything from the moment his name is called to his first days at his new team will be filmed by a crew from James and business partner Maverick Carter’s SpringHill media company.
The plan will be to release a Bronny documentary, with LeBron set to play a starring role.
“Bronny hasn’t been invited to the Green Room, which would have given the possibility for LeBron and co to attend the first round Draft so the family decided to have a party at home,” an NBA source told The U.S. Sun.
