There have been a few tough weeks for the Mahomes family following Patrick Mahomesā Super Bowl win, with a few scandals involving other family members and with the quarterbackās grandmother, Debbie Bates Martin, passing away.
Debbie Bates Martin died after a series of health problems on April 5, at the age of 72.
This has been tough for the whole family, but especially for the NFL starās mother, Randi Mahomes.
This week she shared another message expressing her struggles with this bereavement.
āMissing my mom so much it hurts and trying not to cry again in front of my daughter is impossible,ā she said on Twitter, where she received several supportive messages.

āDebbie was a child of God. She attended school in West Rusk. She worked as the Troup Middle School Secretary and Whitehouse High School Registrar for 41 years. Also, she worked for the last 5 years at Rader Funeral Home. She was a member of Troup Womenās Civic Organization. She was her children and grand-childrenās biggest cheerleader and supporter. Her family was her pride and joy.
