FLOYD MAYWEATHER returns to the ring this weekend as he takes on John Gotti III in an eagerly-anticipated rematch.
The two last went head-to-head in an exhibition bout in Florida in June 2023, with the fight ending in chaos.
The sixth round consisted of trash-talking and rough tactics, which led referee Kenny Bayliss to stop the bout and declare it a no-contest.
Once the bout was waved off, Gotti III, the grandson of organised crime boss John Gotti, charged at Mayweather, prompting a mass brawl in the ring.
Each fighter’s respective camps stormed the ring with several punches thrown in crazy scenes – leading to both competitors being escorted out of the venue.
Gotti III was slapped with a six-month suspension for his antics in Florida and now returns to the ring for the rematch with Mayweather having served his ban.
