Darren Waller, who is contemplating retirement from the NFL this offseason, has apparently kept himself busy in other pursuits.
The New York Giants tight end released a song and music video entitled “Who Knew (Her Perspective)” following his divorce from WNBA star Kelsey Plum in April.
“I’ve struggled with intimacy in romantic relationships my whole life, and I recognize the toll it has taken on the lovers I’ve been close to,” he told TMZ Sports on Thursday. “Essentially, I’m telling myself, from the damage I’ve done, that it’s imperative for me to heal the wounds in my life I’ve been avoiding by seeking relationships.”

Plum said she “walked through fire for that man” following her divorce from Waller but added it was “time to go.”

Waller, 31, has played eight NFL seasons and is a one-time Pro Bowler. Plum, 29, is a two-time champion and two-time All-Star who has spent her entire WNBA career with the Las Vegas Aces.
