Following a strict routine from day to day, LeBron James always stays positive while still ensuring his physical condition and finding time to “roll TikTok” with his family.
The players’ stories at home during the pandemic are always very diverse.
Some people lock themselves in their rooms with game consoles, occasionally going out to practic
Others take advantage of maintaining their physical condition anytime, anywhere, ready for the return of the NBA in the next few months.
So what about LeBron James, what is his pandemic season schedule like? Sharing in a video call via Zoom with journalist Mark Medina (USA Today)
According to journalist Mark Medina, to keep himself inspired during boring days, LeBron James follows a strict process as follows:
– At night, he goes to bed with specialized software to support sound, often playing melodious music or inspirational stories.
– When he wakes up in the morning, LeBron immediately goes to his most positive source of energy , which is his son Bronny, Bryce, and daughter Zhuri. He calls this the right way to start a new day.
– After the meal, there will be two to three small practice sessions with prepared lesson plans . James always keeps his body active in many different ways such as weight training, cardio or balance exercises.
In addition, he also regularly contacts his Los Angeles Lakers teammates and practices online with them via Zoom software, a process being introduced by the yellow and purple team to keep the players connected.
But in the end, he always ends his training sessions with 10 minutes of meditation and a breathing exercise to bring his body back to a stable state.
– In the evening when the whole family gathers, LeBron James always spends all his time with his wife Savannah and three children at the dining table or in the living room. This is also the time when the whole James family often “rolls TikTok” together to post on social networks.
This process is repeated every day and it helps LeBron James stay in the best shape both physically and mentally.
“Being here, 24/7 with my family is a privilege I have,” LeBron shared with Mark Medina. “I feel extremely grateful for this time. It is extremely beneficial because you know, time waits for no one. Even though I miss basketball extremely much, I am happy to be with wife and children”.
While everyone faces their own difficulties and challenges, staying positive and grateful for what they have is the best way to overcome the current situation.
Obviously everyone misses basketball, but as LeBron James said, the opportunity to have time to rest with family like this is extremely rare. Like a normal season, it’s difficult for James to play with his children as much as he has in the past 4 weeks.
