Anthony Edwards’ girlfriend Jeanine Robel shared a touching tribute to the Minnesota Timberwolves star on the occasion of International Father’s Day on Sunday. Robel shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram story featuring Edwards with their newborn daughter, Aislynn, and conveyed gratitude to him for always trying to be there for her and their baby.

“2 month shots today an im glad he here cause he the only person been able to calm her down….If I called u today asking for help thank you!” Robel captioned one of her stories.

Anthony Edwards became a first-time father when he welcomed his daughter with his girlfriend on March 1. The two-time NBA All-Star reportedly left an NBA game midway to witness the birth of his first child.

After logging in nearly 19 minutes in the first half, Edwards was ruled out for the remainder of the Timberwolves’ matchup against the Sacramento Kings on March 1, citing personal reasons. The Timberwolves guard recorded 11 points, two rebounds and two assists before making a mid-game exit as the team lost 124-120.
