Where to watch Chicago Sky vs. Los Angeles Sparks? TV schedule, online streams and more

The playoff-chasing Chicago Sky lock horns against the struggling Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday evening in WNBA at Crypto.com Arena. Both teams will be looking for a win this weekend after suffering losses earlier in the week.

The Sky come into the game following a disappointing defeat to the Phoenix Mercury in midweek. Angel Reese & Co. have won four of their last eight games as they currently occupy the last playoff spot, just below their new rivals, the Indiana Fever.

But after losses to the Mercury and Seattle Storm, they will be looking to improve on their consistency.

The battle for the playoffs is particularly interesting as a cluster of teams will feel they are right in the mix. A win on Saturday would keep them in contention, so they will certainly see this as a good time to play the Sparks.

Speaking of the hosts, Curt Miller’s women have lost their last four home games. They had lost their previous four prior to that, bringing their home record to a dismal 4-9. In fact, the Sparks’ season so far has been a bit disappointing, picking up only 6 wins in 19 games. A win here would get them back on track and keep their sights set upward rather than downward.

When and where is Chicago Sky vs. Los Angeles Sparks?

The game between the Sky and the Sparks will tip-off at 5pm ET on Saturday, August 17, at Crypto.com Arena, which can accommodate up to 20,000 fans.

Chicago Sky vs. Los Angeles Sparks: Head-to-head

These sides have been in the WNBA together for 18 seasons now, so have met on 52 occasions in the league during that time. The Sparks won 35 of the meetings to Sky’s 17. However, six of those 17 Sky wins have come in the last 10 clashes, including an 83-73 win in the reverse fixture, where Marina Mabrey scored 20 points.

So, Sparks will therefore be looking to recapture that good form against them here, whereas Sky will look to make it five wins in a row against LA.
